Taxes to be paid in the deed

One of the most frequently asked questions by buyer customers is what taxes they have to pay at the time of deed.

In addition to paying this act, it is necessary to settle two taxes: the Municipal Tax on Real Estate Transfers (IMT) and the Stamp Duty (IS).

First, the IMT is calculated by the following formula:

IMT = Indenture Value or Tax Asset Value (the highest) x Rate to be applied - Installment to be deducted

The second, the IS is calculated by the following formula:

IS = Book value or Tax Asset Value (the highest) x 0.8%

APEMIP provides a simulator on its website, which allows the calculation of the aforementioned taxes, by inserting the value of the deed (here).
